Sad news

I found out yesterday that Brad and Shawna are leaving in July and moving to Calgary. It is actually very sad. I think everyone at youth is sad about that. I hope everything goes good for him at the Church in Calgary though.

My Dream

I had a weird dream last night. It was kind of scary actually. In my dream there was a bunch of us probably a crowd of a hundred or more and it was like a youth event or something and we were watching movies or segments of movies. We started of watching the Simpsons but I think I stood up and said that we shouldn't be watching it or something like that so then we were going to Watch pirates of the Caribbean or Spiderman or something like that. Anyway all of a sudden my phone rang or a phone Rang and I answered it and there was this man on the other end that seemed very friendly asking us where we were exactly and when we were planning to leave and he said that he would like to come a visit us (we were on a ship of some sort in a dungeon sort of room, must have been on the bottom of the ship) anyway I got a bad feeling about him even though he was so friendly so I didn't really tell him anything, my friend Keerstin was now with me too and we both felt we and everyone with us was in danger. So we tried to evacuate the people and get them to a safe place but unfortunately the "friendly" guy showed up like right away and started hauling people off with him on a different ship and he was killing them. Keerstin and I got really scarred and started grabbing the younger children and we started running, hopping he would not find us. By this time we were in gross green water but we could still breath. The grossness seemed to be all around us. Somehow during this time me and keerstin seemed to get separated and only one girl was left with me. The guy or maybe his "boss" or some really evil man anyway seemed to not care about anyone else just me (it was almost like if he got me he got everyone else) so I was started running as fast as I could with this child and I could feel my heart pounding really lots and I think I was actually praying in my sleep because I was so scared. The man did find us however (he looked like darth vader) but didn't do anything to us really he just put us on his ship and we traveled to land and I found myself in front of "my house" and my nighbours ( who were apparently Nat and Candace) I soon found that Beth was with me and we were both scared because we thought that he wanted to get Nat and Candace. I decided that we should all escape before anything happened, so I started gathering people together in secret and we started to run but I then found myself in the green sea and I demon like thing was chasing me and it looked like I was being swallowed up by it. In my head I was thinking something else will happen because it can't end like this and I found myself awake and I was praying really hard out loud that God we save us. And then I realized I was just a dream and for some reason I just started praying for my brother Alex and Houda without even realizing it at first.
I know this was only a dream but it got me to thinking and to realize the spiritual battle we are in every day. Satan will is always searching for ways to stop you from saving other people but God is always there with you. My dream my have stopped where Satan swallows me up but the story isn't over. Right now Satan might have a hold of our world but as Brad says were only in act 2, act 3 is yet to come when Jesus comes to take us with him and be our hero.

you know a lot has happened in my life in the past few days. I kept thinking that I had such a horrible life and then I started to realize that I probably have one of the most blessed lives. There are people around the world that are starving and don't have closes to where and I'm here and probably am eating too much. I've hated the way I've been living for a long time but I never did anything about it. I would say that I was trying to change and maybe I would for awhile but hen I would give up because it was to hard and I was scared. Well I hate it that I haven't really done anything but complain. I thought going to bible school I would change and then everything would be ok. But I realize now that it is up to me to do something now. Beth has been talking a lot about complacency a lot lately and she is right. Winkler is a very complacent place and I'm the same way. I wish that I wasn't though and starting today I have decided that I don't want to be that way anymore. God expects more from me. Right now he's probably spewing me from his mouth but I don't want that. I want to be a loving person and be an example to others, but right now I know that is not what I'm doing. I just ask that you guys pray for me so I don't fall back in to the same comfortable lifestyle that I have been in, and that I won't listen to the lie of Satan anymore. God has done so much for me so I really do want to do something for him.

Last Weekend

Ok so it's been a while sine I last posted.
well the zoo was lots of fun. It was the perfect day nice and hot. I saw a white black bear which was really cool. I also saw a Siberian tiger, a snow leopard, a lion, lynx, and a lot of other cool animals. Then after getting back from the zoo we left for fisher bay work weekend. When we got there the van got stuck because the ground was so wet a gooshy which was really gross. Saturday morning we found out we were on breakfast. I made the pancake mix and I got it all over me. It looked like I had been painting it was very funny. Us girls ended up cleaning the dining hall. The dishes were already done for us when we got there. Later in the afternoon we went to go clean the trailer and the caboose. The trailer wash room was absolutely disgusting. The tub and walls were black and dark orange from rust. We used sparkle on it though and we found out it was a white wall and yellow tub. When I was cleaning the shower head I put some pure sparkle on a sponge and started scrubbing it well. It ran down my arm. I ignored it for the first couple of seconds until it started stinging and then I ran to the kitchen and stuck my hole arm in the pale. I also breathed that stuff in an d I tell ya that's not a good idea. Oh and on the way to the trailer Beth decided to run well she was wearing flip flops well needless to say she fell on her but. And it was really funny because I'm usually the one that happens to and the pales she was caring didn't dump so that was kind of cool. Anyway later in the evening then us girls were sitting in our cabin and we decided that we should go to the wash room before it started to rain again well we walked out side and it just started to pour so we ran to the wash room and Beth lost her flip flops on the way. So when we were done and leaving the it started to hail. What fun. So we got outside and Beth just took off and when she got to the steps she fell backwards off of them and her umbrella was flipped inside out. Meanwhile sherry had lost her flip flops and was looking for them so I went back because I had the umbrella and the I lost mine and also could not find them. Then when we got back we thought it would be fun to go run in the rain if we had more close and could go home and b e warm well then we decided to go anyway so we got into shorts and went bare foot and ran to the dining hall to get a snack well half way back Beth said to me Ash don't think about the worms we saw before. Well you know me I screamed and took off running. When were back at the cabin we couldn't stop laughing we were laughing so hard you couldn't here us and our abbs really hurt. We had burping contests too but I defiantly didn't win. It was really funny. The weekend was really awesome. You all should come next year.

Going to Fisher Bay work weekend

Wow it's a nice day today. It's supposed to get up to 27 today. Nice and warm. It's the perfect day for the Zoo which is where I will be going today. And I'll be back just in time to go to Fisher Bay work weekend. It's going to be fun. I hope I can wash the dishes again this year. I like being on dishes duty especially when Beth and Heather are doing it as well. I glad it's so nice this weekend. I remember going to the work weekend and snow still being on the ground. Although there will probably be a ton of mosquitoes swarming everywhere, which isn't very pleasant.

Back from Russell

Hey
the trip was good. We stayed in the Russell Inn. It was a nice hotel but it was like a maze. When we first got to the hotel Courtney and Chelsea had the keys to the room and so they left but me and Mandi did not know what room we were in. We thought we were in the 300s for some reason so we went through the maze if our heavy luggage and even knocked on some doors to see which room we were in. We decided to ask Mrs T and it turned out we were in the 200s room 237. The food was really good. Usually on tours we end up eating fast food all week. I'm glad we didn't have to do that. I went swimming twice but it was more like sitting in the hot tub because the guys were playing football in the pool and I didn't wan to get involved in that. I also didn't want to get my hair wet. I tried to get my homework done I only managed to do 2 math questions though. Andreas brought his ps2 so we watched a few movies.

The concerts were ok. I think our first one in Minadosa sucked though. I think our best one was in Russell. The kids were so cute. They copied Evan on the symbols and tambourine. and They copied the choir guys doing weird clapping movements. It was fun though. Russell was also where Andreas got asked buy so grade 8 or 9 girls if they could have a picture with if. We bugged him about it the rest of the time and still are. The next day it looked like he had mascara and foundation on his shirt and didn't know where it came from so we just say it was from those girls.

Going to Russell

I'm leaving @ 8:45 tomorrow to go to Russell. It should be a blast. I'll be back on Thursday @ like 4:00. I get to do laser tag and mini golfing and Swimming my favorite one. We will be singing in schools in Minnedosa, Roblin, Neepawa, and of course Russell. I should go finish packing though and maybe do some home work.

Started Work

So I've started working at the Golf Course Restaurant. It's actually a lot of fun. I've only had 2 shifts there. That's also because I've been sick. Yesterday I had to stay home from school because I was so sick. I hope I didn't miss too much work because Tuesday I'm leaving for choir tour, and I'll be missing a bunch of work then. Tour should be fun though were going to Russell. Not as fun as Banff but I wont have to sleep on a bus this time so that will be good.

Awesome Drama

So I went to see the miracle Worker (the drama my school did) yesterday. It's about Helen Keller. IT was awesome. Carrie was Helen and you actually thought she was blind and Jenessa N did an awesome job of Anne Sullivan. Actually all the actors were good. Andreas played captain Keller and Jenesa F played kate Keller, Mikaela played Helen's aunt yah and those were my friends in the drama. Oh it was so good Carrie must have gotten a good work out from Helen's tantrums.

My mom came out to Winkler today. I haven't seen her in a long time. She arrived in Winnipeg on Thursday and I think she is going back to Alberta either tomorrow or Tuesday.
